Eurail
The Rail Europe network spans 17 countries across the continent and
offers a wide range of rail passes which are also valid for discounts or
free services on select ferries, steamers and buses. What's more, you
can even purchase sector tickets and make all your reservations with
TCI, the GSA in India. Those resident in India can pay for these passes
and sector tickets in Indian Rupees. |

The 17 Countries are : Austria, Belgium,
Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Republic of Ireland,
Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, and
Switzerland. This offers great flexibility and the opportunity to
explore several countries. |

Eurail Select Pass is valid for 3, 4 or 5 Countries.
The Eurail
Selectpass entitles you to unlimited travel on the national rail
networks of any 3, 4 or 5 adjoining countries out of the 22
participating countries. The chosen countries must be linked by a direct
train or shipping line.
Children 4 – 12 years of age pay half the adult fare. Children under
4 travel free (except if a reservation for a separate seat / bed is
required )
Notes:
- Norway and Finland not considered as adjoining countries. They
have a joint border, but to get by train from Norway to Finland you
have to pass through Sweden.
- Ireland is adjoining France or Benelux
- Belgium/Netherlands/Luxembourg are considered as one country,
called Benelux
- Bulgaria / Serbia & Montenegro are considered as one country.
- Croatia / Slovenia are considered as one country.
